Mas Igneus is an organic winery in Priorat, committed to producing certified organic wines with character. Located in the heart of Catalonia’s DOQ Priorat region, our wines reflect the land, the tradition, and our passion for sustainability.
ABOUT US
FROM IGNEUS TO MAS IGNEUS
The origin of Mas Igneus began in Poboleda in 1997. It was, at that time, the first organic wine project in Priorat.
Our goal as an organic winery in Priorat is to combine tradition, sustainability and innovation, staying true to the values that inspired that early beginning.
In 2004, a new winery was created in Gratallops by architect Alfons Soldevila i Barbosa.
After 16 years, in 2020, Igneus was taken over by Ornella.
In this new phase, Igneus was renamed Mas Igneus.

Mas Igneus: Organic Winery in Priorat with Purpose
Mas Igneus is located in the heart of the Priorat region.
The entire vineyard is certified as organic by the CCPAE. The varieties we work with are mainly Red Grenache and Carignan, but we also have other plantations of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot and for white wines, White Grenache.
Currently our lands are Costers de l’Ermita in Gratallops ,where the winery is located, Finca Comellars in Poboleda, El Maset del Boixó, where you can find one of our most precious treasures, with vines over 100 years old and Finca La Salanca in Torroja del Priorat.
A total of 25 hectares of vineyards that give life to Mas Igneus and our wines.
